Terms of Use
1. The service
Family Kakeibo is a family expense tracker based on the Kakeibo method. It records the information you enter; it does not move money, connect to banks or give financial, tax or investment advice.
2. Your account
- Give accurate details and keep access to your email address. Don’t share sign-in codes.
- You’re responsible for activity in your account. Tell us promptly at gskumar1994@gmail.com if you suspect misuse.
- You must be 18 or older to create an account, or use it as part of a family set up by your parent or guardian.
3. Families
A family admin controls who can join and what role they have. By joining a family you agree that its members can see the family’s records. Admins may remove members; removed members’ past entries stay in the family’s records.
4. Acceptable use
Don’t use Family Kakeibo for anything unlawful, to store other people’s data without their permission, to attempt to access other families’ data, or to disrupt the service (for example by automated sign-in attempts).
5. Your data
You own the information you enter. We use it only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export or delete it at any time from Settings.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available and your data safe, and back it up regularly, but we can’t guarantee uninterrupted service. We may improve or change features. For important changes to these terms, we’ll ask you to accept the new version.
7. Liability
Family Kakeibo is provided “as is”. Figures shown depend on what you enter; please check important numbers against your bank. To the extent permitted by law, we aren’t liable for indirect losses or for decisions made based on the service.
8. Ending use
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, after notice where reasonable.
